Everyone always gets caught saying “I wish I had saved that,” “I wish I had a pictures from that day,” and even more commonly, “Oh the kids were so cute that special day when…” Don’t let another year go by not saving your special memories. Encourage your children to keep journals, and to write in them every couple of days, after special events, etc… If they’re too young, make sure you write it for them. What could be better, spending time with your child, reflecting on all their great experiences, and saving memories for a lifetime! Start scrapbooks, journals, and never forget your camera. Digital cameras have turned Mother’s into 21st century photographers. It’s so easy, so fast, and so inexpensive today to take thousands of pictures!
Hartstrings would love for you to share some of your summer stories with us! Send over one of your favorite moments from this summer with your children. Maybe your youngest learned how to swim, or took their first step on the beach. Maybe they hated the beach and you had to leave after the first 5 minutes! Share your stories with us, and we will share several excerpts on our site. (Listing first names only unless requested otherwise)
