8.19.09     Tori Spelling made if official! Friday 8.14.09 Tori Spelling appeared at the Century City Bloomingdale’s in LA to launch the Fall childrenswear collection of little maven by Tori Spelling. Tori’s children Liam and Stella along with husband Dean came to support Tori’s launch. The first 100 purchasers of little maven clothing of $75 or more were given a signed copy of New York Times Best Seller, Mommywood, by Tori Spelling. Prior to the Bloomingdale’s launch, Tori appeared on Good Day LA to show off the childrenswear with a fashion show. See the link below for the fashion show clip. The clothes look great and the kids had a blast!

Hey East Coasters! Tori will be launching in New York City as well! September 12th Tori will be celebrating the new little maven by Tori Spelling line at the Bloomingdale’s in New York City! Little Maven by Tori Spelling fashion show!? Yes, it’s true. Little Maven made a huge debut at Tori Spelling’s fashion show held at her home last week to celebrate and show the styles of Little Maven Fall 2009. The clothing was worn by Liam and Stella, along with their friends. Featured to the left in In Touch Weekly Magazine, Tori and Stella were photographed wearing coordinating Little Maven outfits. Tori in a one of a kind Little Maven tee and Stella wearing a her “little black dress” with pink satin ribbon from the fall 2009 line.

CM | What’s your favorite family ritual these days?

TS | Family dinner is huge on my list. I feel like it’s good to start it now. When Liam and Stella are eating in their high chairs, Dean and I try to eat something, so we’re all sitting down together. I see this continuing the rest of their lives. When they’re all grown up and out of the house, maybe once a week they’ll come home for family dinner.

Hartstrings’ newest venture, little maven, is defined and differentiated by Tori’s vision of modern Hollywood lifestyle children’s clothing for her own children. Little maven is fun, young and incredibly versatile. Little Maven’s combination of Hollywood chic and seaside casual has created a style unique to the line, mixing elements of resort, such as vibrant colors and bold prints, with more distinct expressions of vintage and glamour.  The partnership between the 30 year old Hartstrings brand and Spelling is a perfect match.  With Hartstrings’ expertise in designing top quality, lasting garments, and Tori’s truly inspired vision, the line will be iconic and chic. 

 

Little Maven by Tori Spelling will retail for $24 – $88 and will be sold in fine Department and Specialty Stores across the country.  Sizes available for girls are 6/9 months to 6x and boys are 6/9 months to 4T.  The Fall line represents Tori’s children Stella and Liam through and through consisting of three girl groups: Bohemian Chic, Stella, and Avalon, along with three boy groups Va Vroom, Liam, and Old Chums.

 

Little maven made its first public debut at the ENK Children’s Show this past March and was awarded “Best in Show for Newcomers” by the James Girone’s Online Guide to the Children’s Marketplace for the little maven boys’ collection. Retailers were thrilled to see our new licensing partnership with Tori and are loving the bright colors, prints, and styles planned for the Fall.

“As a mother of two, I strongly believe that style should not be compromised when it comes to your family.  But I realized that there is need for inspired, yet accessible, clothing for infants and toddlers. That’s what Little Maven will bring to the marketplace,” says Spelling.

TORI SPELLING
